Boiled Beef Filipino Style (Nilagang Baka)
- 1 kilo beef kenchi, cubed
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon peppercorns
- 4 pieces potato, quartered
- pechay or cabbage leaves
- salt or patis to taste
- Boil beef in water until tender.
- Add sliced onion, ginger, peppercorn and potatoes.
- Cook until potatoes are tender.
- Add pechay or cabbage leaves.
- Season to taste.
