Fantastic Four 233
Johnny Storm used to have his own comic called Strange Tales. One fine day, Dr.Strange appeared in that comic together with Nick Fury. Poor Johnny eventually got kicked out of his own book!
With issue 233 of the Fantastic Four, older readers can go back to the Strange Tales days, and newer ones can see what the Torch is like on his own. Having a whole comic devoted to the Torch allows John Byrne to showcase the flexibility of Johnny's flame powers. You'll see him go up against common thugs and an armored hammerhead, all this while playing detective. Once again, a done-in-one issue with a bittersweet ending.
