Golden Age Superman





It's 1938 and the costumed superhero was yet unknown. Into a world more accustomed to eccentric yet unpowered humans in secret garb going on colorful adventures (Zorro, The Phantom) in comes Superman jumping an eighth of a mile, immune to bullets and running with speeding cars. Today what seems to be par for the course was amazing during the thirties and this feeling - precursor to the wonder of the superhero comic - flew in with him. Kal-L, the immortal, the first Superman.
