Cheesy Polenta

Ingredients(4 servings)

Cooking Instructions (total time : 1 hour 15 minutes)

  1. Cut the cheese into strips.
  2. Polenta is coarsely ground cornmeal.
  3. Mix a cup of polenta with 4 cups of water.
  4. Once the polenta is done, let it sit for a few minutes, then slice it.
  5. In a baking pan make a layer of polenta at the bottom.
  6. Spread a layer of cheese on top of the polenta.
  7. Keep on building polenta and cheese layers one on top of the other till you run out of ingredients.
  8. Top everything with melted butter.
  9. Heat an ovent o 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  10. Bake until the dish browns.
