Filet Mignon

  1. Mix butter, parsley, lemon zest and garlic.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  3. Wrap the bacon slice around the filet mignon. Use a toothpick to secure the bacon.
  4. Heat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Sprinkle filets with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook the filets in oil until browned.
  7. Turn the filet on its side to crisp the bacon.
  8. Transfer filets to the oven. 5 minutes for rare, 7 minutes for medium, 12 minutes for well done.
