Cooking Instructions

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan, bring water, butter, and salt to a boil.
  3. Add flour.
  4. Stir the mixture for 20-30 seconds, until a sticky dough ball forms and begins pulling away from the sides of the pan.
  5. Reduce heat to low-medium heat and cook, stirring, for 90 seconds.
  6. Remove from heat and set aside for 5 minutes.
  7. Beat in eggs, one at a time, along with cheeses and seasonings.
  8. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  9. Place heaping teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets 1 inch apart.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes until the gougeres are a deep golden brown. Serve.
