Cooking Instructions

  1. Mix the carrot, celery, onion, red bell pepper, and white mushrooms.
  2. In a pan, saute the mix in butter and olive oil for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Combine the vegetable mix and the ground beef together with all the other ingredients except the sugar, ketchup and mustard and mix by hand.
  4. Form the mix into a loaf shape. Make sure the meatloaf is packed tight.
  5. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Combine the sugar, mustard and ketchup.
  8. Remove the meat from the oven after 30 minutes and brush the sugar mix on top of the meatloaf.
  9. Bake for an additional 30 minutes. Serve.
