Cooking Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in half of the water then set aside.
  2. Dissolve salt in sugar in remaining water.
  3. Add the dissolved yeast.
  4. Add the brown sugar water, molasses, flour, powdered milk, shortening-water mix and raisins.
  5. Knead dough in floured surface until elastic.
  6. Divide into two loaves and put into loaf pans.
  7. Allow dough to rise until double the original size.
  8. Put a pan of water in the lowest rack of the oven.
  9. Bake dough at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
