Cooking Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the steaks in oil for 3 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Add shallots and butter to the steak drippings in the pan. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add cognac (mind the flame) and cook until sauce thickens.
  5. Add the cream.
  6. Pour sauce over the steak and serve.
