Okay this is the last issue.
While not exactly a disastrous ending, I would have wanted the story to end a bit better than this. It's bittersweet, this ending, but it doesn't ruin the tremendous fun of Bulletproof Coffin taken as one big story.
Right in the middle of this tale, we are shown Steve visiting a comic studio. The creators remind me of the late greats: Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. What follows next is a rant against the Big Two. No Kidding. This comes complete with a cover sample called The Legion of Dead Heroes which reminds me of a Leifeld cover.
After all is said and done, I had tremendous fun reading this series and wouldn't mind if David Hine and Shaky Kane hit us with another volume.
